It's spring in the Catskills Mountains - lots of rain and lots of time indoors cooking up plans for sunnier days. April 1st marked my first full-year in Arkville. I'd like to say it's been full-time, but I maintain an active teaching and performance schedule in the Hudson Valley and NYC. Even still, my 3-4 days a week in Delaware County have seen serendipitous connections with people, venues and places. My mission of bringing local communities to life through song is being realized one-connection-at-a-time. Here are a few events I'm really looking forward to:
American Song at Arkville's Union Grove Distillery. Bryan Brundige on trombone + more special guests.
A new workshop at the Pine Hill Community Center! Open to all young musicians who want to learn how to create a fully-improvised group song using rhythm, harmony and melody!
